The Town of Newburgh Police are looking into what is believed to be a fatal hit and run that took place near the area of Old Little Britain Road and Unity Place earlier today (August 18, 2023). It appears that a man was struck while changing a tire. The Town of Newburgh Police Department issued a press release this after noon stating that at approximately 7:50 AM this morning (August 18, 2023) they responded to an area on Old Little Britain Road near Unity Place. The call was for a what appeared to be an unconscious male in the road.
